Junior Athlete Strength Class

Do you have a budding junior athlete in your family that would benefit from age-appropriate strength training with a qualified ACSA Strength & Conditioning Coach?

Join our Junior Athlete Strengthening Class on Fridays mornings from 7am-7.45am, at Burleigh Clinic and be guided by ACSA accredited S&C Coach (and Massage Therapist) Trent Ousby.

Trent is a Dad of 3 young kids, has spent time working with the GC Suns AFL, Tweed Seagulls Rugby League, Swimmers, Triathletes, Surf Athletes and lots of bodies who like to exercise or be active in life.

Want to Know More About the Class?

  • Targeted for ages 11yrs-16yrs old
  • Budding athletes of any sport Welcome
  • The class is targeting fundamental foundation body weight movements, including some jumping and landing
  • No gym experience needed – in fact, it’s about having fun and introducing kids to strength training in a safe and supervised environment where they will learn to move better, feel better and be able to perform better!
  • Parents can drop & go – or you are welcome to stay and watch – OR, better still, shout yourself a use of our Pilates and Floor exercise equipment and complete a quick exercise session of your own at the same time. You can buy a monthly, unlimited use of our Gym and Pilates equipment for your independent use for $56 (with no contract, paid month by month), or pay causally for $22 per visit.
  • We have a shower available for use after the session if your child would like a shower before heading off to school
  • Limited places in the class with only 6 Junior Athletes per class – currently we have only 3 places left available so bookings are essential
  • $20 per session
  • Once you have booked a place in the class, we need 48hrs notice to withdraw or there may be a $15 cancellation fee unless we can fill the place in the class

Trent is an experienced Senior Massage Therapist & ACSA S&C Coach who loves sport and active-minded people.

Trent can help you with planning a gym program, a guide to get fit and healthy, or train with you in our Gym space at our Burleigh Clinic with a gym weights strength session or a circuit session.
