My story…

I grew up on a farm in Henty, a small town near the NSW-Victoria border. I’m one of five siblings, second in line, which naturally sparked a competitive spirit in me that often spills into all areas of life. When I was 16 years old, I moved away to boarding school in Ballarat where I continued to pursue my interest in football (Aussie rules). It was in my time there that my real passion for physiotherapy grew due to a long list of injuries so naturally spent more time with the physios.

I moved back to Albury post High School to pursue my career in Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University. Post University I stayed in the area to work for 4 years where I continued to play in local level Aussie rules. It was during this time in Albury that I met my partner, Kate. It was Kate who sparked the move to NQ Townsville for her to pursue her career where we have spent the past 4 years with our dog Ayla. While in Townsville I complete my Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

It is now with my new role with the Gold Coast Suns Academy that we have moved to the Gold Coast, and I am so fortunate to been given the opportunity from Britt to become part of the team Gold Coast Physio and Sports Health.
